Here is a list of relevant practical information for current students, future students, and anyone else interested in Haderslev Sprogcenter.
Practical Information
If you are a self-supporting student, you must pay a deposit of DKK 2,000 before you can start a course at Haderslev Sprogcenter. You are classified as a self-supporting student if you
- Come from an EU country
- Moved to Denmark to work or study
You can pay the deposit on MobilePay: 181628 or transfer the amount to Haderslev Municipality’s bank account in Jyske Bank using the information below:
- Sort code 7562
- Account no. 0003434349
- IBAN DK9075620003434349
If you pay your deposit via Haderslev Municipality’s bank account, please write Sprogcenter in the message box, when transferring the money
A Danish language course comprises 5-6 modules. Your deposit will be refunded if you complete the modules within the following time frames:
- Module 1: 6 months
- Module 2: 6 months
- Module 3: 7 months
- Module 4: 8 months
- Module 5: 9 months
- Module 6: 9 months
If you spend longer on one of the modules, your deposit will not be refunded. You will need to pay a new deposit before you can start the next module.
If you pass all the modules within the time frame, your deposit will automatically be refunded once you have completed your Danish language education.
If you wish to take a break from your Danish course, you must take it immediately after passing a module test. Taking a break in the middle of a module may affect your deposit.
Remember to let us know if you wish to take a break. You can inform us by calling us on 74 34 79 00 or emailing us at sprogcenter@haderslev.dk. You are also welcome to contact the office.
You can attend classes at Haderslev Sprogcenter both during the day and in the evening. We also provide online classes for certain modules.
Our daytime classes convene twice or three times a week.

- Tuesday 8.15 am - 12.50 pm
- Friday 8.15 – 10.45 am or 11.20 am - 1.45 pm

- Wednesday 8.15 am - 12.50 pm
- Thursday 8.15 am - 12.50 pm
- Friday 8.15 – 10.45 am
Daytime classes: Danish Education 3
- Tuesday 8.15 am - 1.45 pm

Our evening classes convene two evenings a week.

When you start classes at Haderslev Sprogcenter, your teacher will provide you with the books you will be using at the school.
Initially you borrow all the books from us. Some books you can keep. You must hand in other books when you finish at the school.
All books must be checked out on the library computer in our study centre. Your teacher will show you what to do.
You can also borrow textbooks in our study centre.
Once you are enrolled in a class at Haderslev Sprogcenter, you must attend every class. If you are unable to attend, you must inform us.
When starting at the school, you must download a special app on your phone. The name of the app is My Education App (MEA).
After you start at the school, a teacher will help you log in to the app. Use MEA to
- Check in when you arrive at school
- Check out if you leave class early
- Write to us if you cannot come to school
In the event of a period of absence of more than one week, you must email the school at sprogcenter@haderslev.dk.
